Position: Certified Forklift Operator

Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour based on experience

Saelens Corp is in search of a proficient forklift operator to enhance our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with the safe and effective transportation of goods and materials within our facility. Collaborating with the shipping and receiving department, you will ensure that all items are correctly loaded and unloaded from transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials throughout the facility
  • Load and unload items from transport vehicles
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of all products
  • Conduct daily inventory checks
  • Perform routine safety inspections on the forklift and report any concerns
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift operator certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
