We are looking for candidates who are passionate, driven, and capable of establishing collaborative relationships within our dynamic team. The Division of Pediatric Surgery is committed to providing exceptional surgical and medical care, as well as engaging in educational initiatives for residents and medical students. This position plays a crucial role in the women and children service line, with opportunities to contribute to the advancement of fetal surgery clinical and research programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of pediatric surgeries in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Manage pediatric general surgery outpatient clinics across various locations.
- Engage in resident education and serve as a mentor to medical students and residents through lectures and clinical instruction.
- Participate in committee service as required by the College of Medicine.
- Be available for night and weekend on-call duties.
- Conduct research relevant to academic medicine.
- Provide comprehensive care across a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Surgery.
- Demonstrated ability in clinical and didactic teaching.
- Proven experience working with diverse patient populations.
