Job Summary

YesCare Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting. As a Registered Nurse with YesCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility.
  • Administer and document medications on the Medication Administration Record.
  • Perform histories and physicals on inmates, assessing patient health status and referring to appropriate level of healthcare provider.
  • Teach healthcare information to patients and correctional staff.
  • Collect samples, specimens, and cultures per Physician orders.
  • Adhere to safety and security policies and participate in disaster drills.
  • Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy.
  • Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
