Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist - Patient Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, education, and support in designated specialty areas. Your expertise will help us achieve our goal of delivering world-class healthcare services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Practice: Performs clinical practitioner duties in designated specialty areas, obtaining histories, performing physical exams, making assessments, and ordering tests to determine diagnoses and plan of care.
  2. Documentation: Records health history, findings, treatment, and recommendations accurately, clearly, and concisely, managing time effectively to ensure optimal use of patient and provider resources.
  3. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Includes patients and/or families in determining the plan of care, educating them to ensure self-management, follow-up, and compliance with established treatment.
  4. Quality Improvement: Supports interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuous quality care and promotes positive health outcomes with a focus on good customer service and patient satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program recognized by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant from the Texas Board of Physician Assistants and certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, leadership ability, and motivation, recruitment, retention, and change management skills.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
