Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team in Dallas, GA. This is a full-time position, with a focus on serving students in pre-K through 12th grade.

About the Role

The successful candidate will conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and implement individualized therapy plans. They will work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans. The SLPA will manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs and maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop effective therapy plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with educators and support staff to ensure seamless integration of speech and language goals into students' education plans.
  • Case Load Management: Effectively manage a diverse caseload of students with varying communication needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.
  • Valid Georgia SLPA license.
