Job Title: Sales Specialist

A global automation client of Insight Global is seeking a technical sales professional to fill a Trusted Advisor role. This individual will consultatively provide solutions to customers that solve problems, reduce costs, and enable operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology, and markets. They will leverage their existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities and consult with end-users to define project scope of work.

This role involves custom training, standardization consulting, configuration, and initial solution project start-up consultation. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving key targets for instrumentation sales and implementing and reviewing automation strategies with region-specific action plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating the end-user value proposition for Automation (internally and externally)
  • Supporting the local sales organization to have an effective perception in Automation
  • Creating and implementing communication, promotion, and training activities in the segment
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key Automation customers in Texas

Associate's degree in technology and 4+ years of experience in instrumentation sales through direct and/or indirect channel partners or distribution are required. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology, and markets, as well as experience with Coriolis, tank level products, pressure and temperature measures, gas meters, electromagnetic meters, vortex meters, flow computers, and RTU.
