We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Equipment Rentals Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our diesel equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, trenchers, and forklifts.
- Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and determine necessary parts and tools for repairs.
- Complete shop paperwork and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in diesel/heavy equipment repair.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Manual dexterity and ability to use a service manual.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
