Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Equipment Rentals Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our diesel equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, trenchers, and forklifts.
  • Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and determine necessary parts and tools for repairs.
  • Complete shop paperwork and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in diesel/heavy equipment repair.
  • Welding experience a plus.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use a service manual.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
