Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical nursing duties for neonates and infants, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough neonatal assessments and provide appropriate interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Recognize developmental stages of neonates and infants and provide support to maximize their developmental outcomes.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to acute changes in neonate/infant's condition and emergency situations in the NICU and other hospital departments.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, utilizing verbal and written skills.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
- Current BLS certification.
- At least one year of NICU RN experience.
