As a Driver Leader with Hirschbach Motor Lines, you will oversee the operations of an assigned fleet of drivers to maximize productivity, utilization, and retention of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure proper communication and eliminate hold time for operators.
  • Send preplans to drivers and secure load commitments within a timely manner.
  • Complete loaded and empty calls.
  • Track operators' performance from dispatch to delivery to ensure on-time services.
  • Manage operator availability and update drivers' PTA accordingly and accurately.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent in education, paired with relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy and energy.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to navigate between multiple programs.
