ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including one-on-one and small group settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of services and support.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff using American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication strategies.
- Active Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Certification in the state of employment.
- Fluency in ASL.
- Background check and drug screening.
- Fingerprinting.
- Competitive hourly rate.
- Paid out every Friday.
