Sign Language Interpreter Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join their team in Macon, Georgia. This is a full-time position working with a high school, requiring a strong background in American Sign Language and experience facilitating communication between students, teachers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language and vice versa.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff in various settings.
  • Provide support to deaf or hard-of-hearing students to ensure they understand instructions and educational content.
  • Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in American Sign Language or a related field.
  • Completed EIPA and/or RID certification.
  • Minimum 1+ years of interpreting experience.
