As a key member of the Corporate Field Operations team at Checkers & Rally's, the Assistant Manager plays a vital role in executing the restaurant plan, driving sales and profits, and delivering exceptional Guest and Team service. This position supports the General Manager in ensuring the restaurant is a 1st Choice for Guests and Employees.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
- Escalate concerns or recommendations to the General Manager.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring the right Team Members.
- Ensure policy and procedures are followed on shifts.
- Train Team Members on operations, Company policies, and procedures.
- Identify and respond to complaints and policy/procedure violations.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to Team Members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and fun environment for Employees and Guests.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Preferred.
- Food Safety Certified.
- 1-2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
- Basic math skills.
- Microsoft Office and general systems experience.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours.
- High energy to keep up with our fast-paced environment.
