MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at University Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI examinations with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and imaging technique.
- Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and safety protocols.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- KY Radiation Operator's certification.
- CPR-Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- MRI Registry within two years of employment.
- Graduate of a JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- One year of recent experience as a general radiographer.
