Project Manager

Resiliency is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from concept to closeout. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, profitably, and on time.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms and company policies.
  • Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Review and provide comments on client contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure project drawings and specifications are up-to-date and accessible to field and office staff.
  • Review and submit project submittals, including those from subcontractors.
  • Prepare and issue change orders for work above and beyond the contracted scope.
  • Complete project closeout, including delivery of punchlist completion, as-builts, and owner and maintenance manuals.
  • Update warranty logs and maintain accurate records.
  • Plan, prepare, and lead client, internal, and subcontractor meetings, providing effective meeting notes.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks and ensure company policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Lead project-specific safety plans in coordination with the Safety Department.
  • Contribute to estimating and preconstruction phases of potential projects.
  • Forecast, budget, and track project costs, productivity, and daily reporting.
  • Create and track job-specific cost codes and labor schedules.
  • Procure materials in collaboration with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in projects and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage all financial aspects of the project, including change orders, billings, and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve project concerns to mitigate risk and maintain relationships.
  • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with owners, contractors, municipalities, and construction managers.
  • Collaborate with field personnel and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Train, mentor, and lead less experienced team members.
  • Approve and track time of direct reports and ensure accurate payroll information.
  • Utilize software and programs, including CRS, PTS, Apex, ConEst, and Sage.

This position requires a precise, cautious expert to manage complex projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced attention to detail, resilience, and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to take direction and receive constructive feedback from Senior Management.
  • Strong sense of self-motivation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management, estimating, scheduling, and accounting software.
  • ConEst, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, project management, construction, or equivalent experience.

Industry Experience:
Minimum 10 years' project management experience on projects above $20MM.

Estimating Experience:
Must have experience and ability to prepare and analyze electrical estimates.

People Management Experience:
Minimum 5 years managing direct reports.
