Position Summary

The Culinary Service Associate is tasked with various responsibilities, including monitoring and documenting food temperatures, maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving food items, restocking food supplies, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and processing payments for food and beverages using a computerized register. This role adheres to Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines for food service, ensuring outstanding customer service and effective communication with patrons and colleagues. The associate is expected to establish positive working relationships and maintain quality control standards.

Responsibilities may include operating equipment such as grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, computerized cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, telephones, refrigerators, and freezers. Candidates should ideally have experience in the food industry.

The role requires the ability to work independently when necessary, an understanding of food safety and sanitation processes, and the capacity to be on their feet for most of the day while walking long distances.


Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Previous customer service experience and knowledge of food service preferred
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
- Basic math skills
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Depending on the location, Serv Safe certification may be required within a designated timeframe
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required based on location requirements.
