Registered Nurse Labor/Delivery Surgical Assistant

Williamson Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor/Delivery Surgical Assist department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Job Responsibilities- Provide quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care to patients in a holistic and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify patient needs, and develop interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- A minimum of one year perinatal experience preferred.
- NRP, or agree to obtain within six months of hire.
- ACLS certification or agree to obtain within six months of hire.
- Able to perform as Scrub and Surgical Assist in OB OR.
- Level I and II fetal monitoring within 1 year of hire.
- Able to function in stressful situations.
- Able to return to work within 1 hour when on call.
Our Perinatal/OB-GYN unit provides a dynamic and supportive work environment, with a patient population ranging from less than one year of age to ninety-nine years of age.
