Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Tableau School Business Data Developer to join our team at Mahantech. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL databases, data visualization, and data warehousing, with a focus on Snowflake and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analysis and leadership on data analysis projects across the DPI enterprise, focusing on School Business Data. This will involve working closely with data analysts, data architects, and application developers to create an enterprise data reporting model that meets DPI's school business and technical requirements.

The candidate will also be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and training to other SQL/Snowflake and Tableau developers and analysts, as well as designing and delivering data mapping specifications for large reporting platforms.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a strong understanding of different database platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and MS Access. They will also need to have experience with data warehousing, data mining, and data visualization, as well as a proven track record of solving real-world problems using data.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field, with a focus on programming, data structure, and data visualization. They will also need to have excellent critical thinking skills and be able to work effectively in an Agile/Hybrid environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ERD/Data Modelling tools, such as Toad, is highly desirable. The candidate should also have a strong interest in playing a technical data steward role across our business and technology partners to understand and detail our data appropriately.
