Eye Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center in a rural hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital-owned practice and be comfortable with a comprehensive array of professional Optometry services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing various conditions of the visual system in patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. A strong focus on patient care and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Requirements
- Graduate of a fully accredited college of optometry program (OD)
- 1-3 years of clinic experience preferred
- Licensed by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
- Licensed in the State of Vermont
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic Microsoft desktop application and navigation skills
