As a CBRE Chief Building Engineer Supervisor, you will oversee the team responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing ongoing maintenance and repair operations for a facility, a campus, or a portfolio of buildings.
This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Development: Track the training and development of staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and communicate preventive maintenance programs and safety procedure manuals to ensure the smooth operation of facilities.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure that mechanics and technicians have the necessary information and materials to complete work activities in a high-quality and timely fashion.
- Cost Estimation: Develop material and labor cost estimates for work orders, preventative maintenance activities, systems, and construction projects.
- Budget Management: Establish and maintain budgets for facilities maintenance, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.

- Process Improvement: Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
