Position Overview

South College is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to contribute to the educational journey of our nursing students. As a vital part of our mission to empower students, you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare professionals.

Role Responsibilities

The adjunct clinical instructor will engage in teaching at various clinical locations and skills lab environments. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing clinical training to ensure students meet course objectives.
  • Assisting in the development of comprehensive course syllabi that align with institutional standards.
  • Ensuring all academic documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  • Maintaining accurate attendance and participation records as required by the institution.
  • Providing official grade reports at the conclusion of each academic term.
  • Collaborating with the course coordinator to facilitate clinical skill development.
  • Being accessible to students for academic support and inquiries.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferred; however, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with substantial clinical experience may be acceptable.
  • Experience in secondary education is advantageous.

Applicants must be prepared to work at various clinical sites as needed in the designated region.
