Responsibilities
As an Ambulatory Care Coordinator RN, you will be responsible for scheduling nursing staff, measuring employee performance, and assisting in the training of new staff members. You will also coordinate the activities of the unit during a particular shift and direct, organize, and assign work to the nursing staff. Additionally, you will assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care, institute emergency procedures as necessary, and provide nursing care to patients on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact RN state license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support for healthcare provider certification, and two years of RN experience in a medical setting. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience is preferred, as is Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and/or Cerner experience.
