At Citizens, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our Capital Markets, Market Risk, and Model Risk team. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our control environment, risk management practices, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and/or participate in complex audits of our Capital Markets & Advisory function, performing audits of Securities and Equities Underwriting, Research, Sales and Trading, Leverage Finance, Global Markets, Asset Finance, and Asset-Based Lending.
  • Support the completion of Market Risk and Model Risk audits and drive related audit practices of the risks across the Internal Audit team.
  • Deliver a defined, typically high-risk aspect of audit engagement, through operational delivery of audit work under supervision, across our various business lines, in line with methodology, standards, and procedures.
  • Execute audits to ensure that bank policies, processes, and procedures are being followed, internal controls and safeguards are in place and are adequate, effective, and efficient.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience with an internal audit function or in a Capital Markets, Model Risk, or Market Risk business.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously utilizing planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise critical thinking and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively build and manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to train and develop junior team members.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • SIE, CIA, certification preferred.
  • Prior audit experience preferred.
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, hybrid-3 days in the office
