Job Title: Infant Development Specialist

Catalyst Family Inc is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infant Development Specialist to join our team. As an Infant Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, promoting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized developmentally appropriate curriculum and small group experiences that cater to the unique needs and interests of infants and toddlers.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of all children in your care.
  • Build strong relationships with families, providing them with regular updates on their child's progress and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in infant and toddler development, incorporating this knowledge into your daily work.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a group care environment, with a focus on infant and toddler care.
  • AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification and ability to obtain any necessary permits or licenses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse families and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move safely, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children.
