Louisiana Tech University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Office of the Comptroller as a Senior Accountant.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and at least two years of experience in public, private, or governmental accounting or other relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated technology skills, and the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities will include reviewing and preparing accounting transaction-related entries, preparing accounting reports, interpreting and analyzing financial data, and reconciling general ledger accounts.

The candidate must be able to work independently and as a member of a team and demonstrate a high level of skill and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with complex financial accounting systems.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
