Job Title: Lead Structural Engineer for Waterfront Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our Marine Infrastructure group, you will be responsible for managing complex waterfront projects, including port developments, marinas, and shipyards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project tasks, ensuring efficient coordination of timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Mentor team members to support their professional growth and development.
  • Apply your engineering expertise to diverse projects, collaborating with teams to devise innovative solutions drawing on best practices in areas such as pile design, bulkhead wall, prestressed concrete, and seismic design.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of structural design experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Structural Engineer (S.E.) Required.
  • Concrete steel and timber design experience.
  • Pile design and bulkhead wall experience.
  • Prestressed concrete and seismic design experience.
  • Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
  • Proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA is preferred.
