Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Corporate Solutions Engineer to enhance our service offerings to corporate clients. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, playing a crucial part in securing technical victories throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
The Corporate Solutions Engineer will serve as the primary technical resource for our sales team, actively engaging in the technology evaluation phase. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical pre-sales support to clients.
- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through the development of strong technical relationships.
- Effectively communicating our technical value proposition to clients and partners.
- Responding to technical and functional inquiries related to requests for information/proposals (RFIs/RFPs).
- Conducting successful customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Documenting client feature requests and issues within our CRM system.
- Supporting seminars and industry trade shows.
- Collaborating with Product Management to convey customer requirements.
- Mentoring fellow system engineers and creating training materials when necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years in software presales or a similar customer-facing role.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Windows/Active Directory administration.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver high-quality product demonstrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various organizational levels.
- An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations.
- Prior experience with enterprise applications and security management solutions is preferred.
- Operational knowledge of LDAP directories and authentication methods.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.
- Security-related certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) are advantageous.
