About the Position:

  • Job Title: Inpatient Staff Registered Nurse
  • Location: Various locations within the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts
  • Salary Range: $77,428 - $129,499 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal health outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • Minimum one year of experience as an RN in an acute care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to customer service and patient-centered care
