We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at the Korean Women's Association. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating conversation to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Help clients with mobility and transfer assistance, such as walking, transferring, and using the bathroom
- Provide light housekeeping and laundry services
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have reliable personal transportation
- Hold a valid Washington State driver's license and auto insurance
- Be willing to become certified as a home care worker within a set amount of time
- Pass a criminal history and reference check
- Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
- A high school diploma, GED, or a foreign equivalent
- A compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills
- A competitive hourly rate
