Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Engineering Director at Precision Castparts Corp, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to the Manufacturing Engineering Functions, driving improvements that align with business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing tools, methods, and resources to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to alleviate constraints and increase productivity.
  • Drive the implementation of PFMEAs and control plans, including SPC and shop-wide initiatives.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events to drive required improvements and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement visual management systems.
  • Provide technical expertise to optimize tools, methods, and resources.
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in leadership roles, preferably in process manufacturing environments.
  • Thorough knowledge of Lean manufacturing skills, including Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma, and Value Stream mapping.
