POSITION SUMMARY:

Meat Processing Trainee

As a Meat Processing Trainee, you will be responsible for meeting daily production requirements and maintaining quality standards in meat processing and preparation. Employees are expected to present products in a fresh and visually appealing manner throughout the department. This role involves processing both fresh and frozen items, packaging, preparing trays, weighing and labeling products, rotating stock, and removing any items that are past their expiration dates. Additionally, you will be tasked with sanitizing work areas in compliance with company policies and health regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 6 months of experience in a meat department or similar environment.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds, with continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • A collaborative team player with a desire to learn, work diligently, and enjoy the process.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
