Travel Nurse PCU Specialist

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a dedicated travel nurse RN to join their team in Houston, Texas. As a Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (RN PCU), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the JobWe offer a competitive pay package for this 12-hour shift position, with an estimated $85,000 per year salary. Our comprehensive benefits include private housing or a generous housing allowance, comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage, dependent health insurance with prescription coverage, travel reimbursement, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for caring for patients who require a moderate level of monitoring and assessment. With at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the specialty, you will possess the skills and expertise to provide exceptional patient care. Your duties will include:
- Assessing patients' conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A valid nursing license and current certification in the specialty
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the specialty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
