Job Title: Commercial Laundry Operator

Bluewater Linen is seeking a skilled Commercial Laundry Operator to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating the sort station, separating linen types, and ensuring efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the sort station, separating linen types and ensuring accurate categorization
  • Break down bundles and place them on the conveyor leading up to the sort station
  • Communicate changes in customer requirements and enter updates into the computer system
  • Divide linen at the sort deck, separating pieces into correct bins
  • Move carts around the area, loaded and unloaded, and sterilize them as needed
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Operate other work stations as assigned by the floor supervisor
  • Assist delivery drivers in loading and unloading carts
  • Assist in moving carts into staging areas as required by production
  • Clean staging areas daily to maintain a presentable environment and quality product
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights
  • Ability to work on feet for eight hours or more
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 50+ pounds frequently
  • Minimum of 6 months production experience, hospitality linen production experience preferred
