The ideal candidate will bring educational qualifications and relevant early career experience that contribute to the success of HCi Valve by delivering high-quality and competitive estimates for plumbing and HVAC projects. A solid understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze engineering specifications and blueprints for commercial projects to perform takeoffs and project estimations.
  • Compile and finalize estimates within specified deadlines.
  • Organize and manipulate Excel datasets for application across various projects.
  • Monitor projects through the design, bidding, and construction stages.
  • Oversee and accelerate multiple sub-projects.
  • Provide technical support for the product line.
  • Engage in technical sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (education may complement experience).
  • Preferred knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates with limited data.
  • Experience in design, construction, and specification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in computer programs: Strong skills in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to anticipate project requirements and cost elements.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and multitasking skills.
  • Independent thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD software.
  • Experience in functional programming using Python or similar object-oriented languages (e.g., Java).
  • Proficiency in using Power BI for trend analysis and improvement identification.
  • Understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
