Houston Community College (HCC) is a leader in education and workforce training, serving the diverse communities in the Greater Houston area. We are seeking a talented Web Graphic Designer to join our marketing team and create engaging visual content for our web platforms and social media channels.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your creative skills and passion for digital media to promote our college and support our mission. As a Web Graphic Designer at HCC, you will be responsible for developing and implementing graphic design concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring a consistent brand image across all digital channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing graphics, logos, and branding materials
- Create and edit multimedia content, including videos, animations, and interactive elements
- Collaborate with writers, artists, and other stakeholders to develop cohesive marketing campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry standards
- Maintain high-quality designs that meet or exceed brand guidelines and technical specifications

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web graphic design, with a focus on digital media and online platforms
- Strong portfolio showcasing versatility, creativity, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and HTML/CSS
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and design thinking methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation Package
The compensation package includes a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits program.
