Job Title: Fostering Prevention Program Manager

Job Summary:

FosterAdopt Connect is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fostering Prevention Program Manager to lead our Fostering Prevention program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, psychology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in non-profit social service agencies with management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Fostering Prevention program, providing support and guidance to team members, monitoring workload, and ensuring employee satisfaction and a sense of team.
  • Complete employee evaluations, identify and provide training for the team, and assist with home visits and follow-up meetings.
  • Ensure parents have proper support and advocacy, coordinate support groups and trainings for parents served, and provide assistance with accepting outside referrals of parents needing help to provide care to children.
  • Ensure initial narrative process requirements are followed, review and approve client narratives, action plans, and documentation, and analyze data to identify trends and directions for future systemic advocacy efforts.
  • Participate in community networking opportunities promoting FAC's programs, partnerships, and sponsorship, and model ethical and professional behavior at all times.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in non-profit social service agencies with management experience.
  • Previous child welfare experience required, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.
  • Experience working with at-risk populations, resourcefulness in setting priorities and creating efficiencies, and organizational and planning skills.
  • Commitment to principles of support and advocacy for parents/caregivers, strong verbal and written communication skills, and leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
