About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. As a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing imaging services in the Nuclear Medicine department, ensuring patient safety, and performing quality control of all instruments.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET imaging and radiopeptide protocols
  • Use equipment to produce and save interpretable images and derive quantitative information from imaging data
  • Assist clerical staff with scheduling, checking in, and calling patients
  • Document procedures in the Epic electronic medical record and transmit images to the PACS system
  • Treat all patients with respect and dignity, and attend to their needs
Qualifications
  • Board certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
  • New graduates who are board-eligible can be considered
  • Must keep New York State License up to date with a minimum of 12 Continuing Education credits per year
