Overview:

Position Details:
Location: SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital
Department: Behavioral Health Adolescent Unit
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift (7am to 7pm)
Compensation: Starting at $16.55 per hour, with a potential sign-on bonus of $3,000 for qualified candidates.

Role Responsibilities:
The Behavioral Health Technician will be responsible for delivering direct care to patients, focusing on the following key areas:
1. Assisting patients with daily living activities.
2. Providing therapeutic interventions as directed by nursing staff.
3. Monitoring and documenting patient behavior and reporting any significant changes.
4. Establishing supportive relationships with patients to foster a therapeutic environment.
5. Ensuring patient safety through regular monitoring and environmental checks.

Qualifications:
Education: An Associate's degree in behavioral health or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience: No prior experience is required for this position.

Physical Requirements:
This role involves:
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent communication and interaction with patients.
- Lifting and moving objects and patients as necessary.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification is required.
