Land Development and Utility Coordination Specialist

As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of data centers, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Land Engineering: Oversee all engineering activities related to land preparation for data center development, ensuring suitability and regulatory compliance. Manage site feasibility analysis, planning, and due diligence.
- Utility Coordination: Work with contractors to facilitate the installation and integration of essential utilities, reviewing designs for water availability, storm water, substations, and site grading.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitoring progress to ensure project goals are met.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to achieve project objectives, fostering strong working relationships and addressing any engineering challenges that arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field). Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 5 years in the Data Center sector.
- Proven experience in land development and utility coordination for large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems, particularly solar energy.
- Experience with data center infrastructure and utility requirements.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
