Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Analysis: Review project documents to understand the scope of work and requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
  • Estimate Development: Analyze blueprints and drawings to determine material and labor requirements.
  • Estimate Presentation: Present cost estimates to clients and project teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in cost estimates.
  • Database Management: Maintain databases of cost information.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams to refine estimates.
  • Site Visits: Participate in meetings and site visits.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a construction estimator.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications, strong analytical and mathematical skills, knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes, familiarity with construction estimating software, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications a plus.

Working Conditions: You will work in an office environment with occasional travel to construction sites. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions may be required.
