Project Manager II Job Description

At Warren Power & Machinery, we're seeking a highly skilled Project Manager II to lead our power system projects to success. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage power system projects from quoting to start-up, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Support, Parts, and Rig-Up shop, to build strong relationships and drive project velocity.
  • Source, purchase, track, and receive necessary components for projects, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors, researching and evaluating potential partners to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  • Provide expert feedback and guidance during the quoting process for new or challenging projects, ensuring accurate estimates and project feasibility.
  • Conduct 'lessons learned' exercises after key projects, collecting feedback from the team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to PSD processes and guidelines, performing duties with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Manage complex projects from multiple land-based salesmen, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma with 8 years of professional experience or a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • 2-4 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and keep projects on budget, on time, and within scope.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Proficient in Excel and other current technology, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
