We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our studio operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and team management, with a passion for the fitness industry.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Oversee all studio functions, including membership sales, instructor performance, and sales efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive membership growth and prevent member attrition.
- Lead sales teams to achieve revenue goals and ensure excellent customer service.
- Staff Management
- Manage staff schedules and ensure accurate inventory counts for studio retail and products.
- Train and supervise Sales Associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire and manage instructors at the studio, ensuring high-quality teaching and customer satisfaction.
- Operations and Administration
- Proficiently use ClubReady software to manage revenue reports, attendance reports, and other key metrics.
- Review instructor evaluations and provide mentorship and disciplinary action as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio and enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures.
- Marketing and Sales
- Strategically manage marketing campaigns to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Execute lead generation and sales strategies to drive membership sales and revenue growth.
- Implement sales processes to schedule prospects into Intro classes and drive sales conversions.
- 2+ years of retail or service sales experience, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Excellent sales skills and ability to train and motivate sales teams.
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams, including memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
- Fluent in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make decisions with good judgment.
- Passion for fitness and ability to excel in a customer-facing role.
- Strong organizational and data management skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public.
- Proficient in computer software and Studio software.
