Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Youth Development Specialist

We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist to join our team as a youth development specialist. In this role, you will provide on-going assessment, crisis intervention, individual and family therapy, and case management services to emotionally disabled youth and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial diagnostic/behavioral health assessments and develop client-specific treatment plans
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused CBT
  • Assist clients in formulating treatment plans and goals, and perform case management services as needed
  • Refer clients to supportive services such as vocational, medical, social services, housing authority, etc.
  • Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment/service plans

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including group health and dental insurance, disability, life, and liability insurance options, and access to a 401(k) program with an employer match.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Mental Health Professional-Resident (LMHP-R)
  • Master's degree in the human services field from an accredited college or university
  • One year of counseling experience with seriously emotionally disturbed youth and their families as well as adults with varying mental health diagnoses and often co-occurring substance abuse is required
