About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Nextek, Inc. as a SMT Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our printed circuit board assembly process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced SMT placement machines to assemble printed circuit boards.
  • Change out feeders and identify components according to work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and correct problems, alerting support staff as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with other SMT operators on a daily basis.
  • Must have knowledge of SMT machines, Juki placement platforms preferred.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in electronics manufacturing environment, SMT operator experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of PCB components.
  • Must be able to work scheduled overtime as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Must be a US citizen.
