Job Description

Westamerica Bank is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Operational Branch Services Officer. As a key member of our branch operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales of Bank services and products, and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Deliver 5 Points of Service to external customers, adhere to QIS standards, and actively contribute to team success through clear and effective communication.
  • Sales Support: Meet sales goals, assist with internal sales activity, and provide coverage for operations and platform activities.
  • Decision Making and Accountability: Exercise sound judgment to protect Bank assets, resolve customer problems, and meet attendance guidelines.
  • Security: Adhere to Control Consciousness policies and procedures, and follow branch security procedures.
  • Transaction Accuracy: Meet established standards for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Good customer relations and basic math skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The employee generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.

Equipment used to perform functions includes 10-key machine, Microsoft-based computers, Fax & photocopier, ATM, tube system for drive-up window, and Branch Capture equipment.
