Job Purpose:
Every role at Baltimore Aircoil is centered around performing tasks with integrity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize standard operating procedures to assemble mechanical support units, ensuring safety and quality to minimize risk of damage.
2. Achieve daily production targets as assigned.
3. Operate JIB cranes safely for lifting, moving, and positioning components.
4. Assist in maintaining an organized and replenished work environment.
5. Construct and fabricate units in accordance with blueprints and technical drawings.
6. Actively pursue skill development to attain world-class mechanic status.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols regarding tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
9. Acquire the necessary skills to uphold the highest quality standards.
10. Collaborate with team members and demonstrate a commitment to collective success.
11. Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisory personnel.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Team Leader, Station Leader, or another designated supervisor within the Assembly department.

Qualifications:
1. Proficient in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractional calculations.
2. Ability to utilize handheld measuring instruments such as tape measures, micrometers, and protractors.
3. Competent in interpreting blueprints and reference drawings.
4. Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
5. Skilled in safely operating drills, nail guns, impact wrenches, and other small power tools as necessary.
6. Familiarity with completing In Process Inspections and other required documentation.
7. Proven ability to operate JIB cranes, validated through necessary certification.
8. Capable of safely handling material moving equipment, including pallet jacks and lift trucks.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to compliance.

Work Environment:
The physical demands outlined are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk for up to 80% of the workday, with frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, sitting, and reaching. This position involves lifting weights of up to 50 pounds regularly.

Exposure to elevated noise levels typical of a manufacturing setting, temperature fluctuations, and intermittent outdoor conditions is expected. Working hours may include various shifts, typically amounting to forty hours per week, with potential weekend overtime.
