Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Card Specialist to join our team at Alabama ONE. As a Card Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our debit, credit, and gift/pre-paid programs, ensuring seamless card issuance and digital wallet experiences for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to card services phone and email accounts, addressing member inquiries and resolving disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Contact Center to resolve card transaction declines and other card-related issues.
  • Complete AOCU Transaction Dispute forms and submit them to PSCU for review and investigation.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements, including the Card Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Reg Z, and Reg E.
  • Review and complete the Mastercard Settlement report daily.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective management of our debit/credit card portfolio.
  • Reconcile and balance incoming and outgoing financials with Accounting Operations.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of member services and credit union procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and members.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
