In the role of Regulatory Compliance Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations concerning serialized components.
  • Facilitate the release of firearm orders ensuring compliance with state regulations and verifying dealers' Federal Firearms licenses.
  • Prepare and submit all required NFA Forms (2, 3, 5, 9) and 4473s in accordance with federal and state legislation.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams for demonstrations and internal transfers.
  • Manage inventory adjustments, acquisitions, and disposition records for scrapped firearms.
  • Report any lost, missing, or stolen firearms to the ATF.
  • Engage with ATF and industry professionals to fulfill regulatory obligations and maintain compliance with GCA and NFA regulations.
  • Demonstrate leadership in environmental health and safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Uphold company standards of integrity, safety, and a positive workplace environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Supportive Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls and operational processes.
  • Monitor business activities to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication within the Compliance Department.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from the Contracts and Compliance Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with ATF compliance laws and regulations is preferred.
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a compliance-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional record-keeping abilities; must ensure accuracy in all documentation.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Commitment to company values and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work across various departments and shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and various elements.
  • Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
