Job Title: Compliance, Risk, Health, and Safety ManagerJob Summary:

The Compliance, Risk, Health, and Safety Manager will be responsible for establishing a high standard of ethical conduct for The Commitment House LLC and reducing loss of exposure to the company. This role will also support the organization in conducting business in a manner that demonstrates the mission and values of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain a risk management plan to identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Develop and maintain a health and safety program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Provide training and orientation to new employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  5. Lead risk and safety meetings to discuss and address potential hazards and risks.
  6. Conduct annual safety refresher training for employees.
  7. Run motor vehicle reports (MVRs) on new hires who will operate a company vehicle.
  8. Conduct road tests on all new hire drivers.
  9. Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for hazard/risk mitigation.
  10. Maintain and submit all OSHA logs and other regulatory agency reports.
  11. Monitor and promote reduction of TRIR, DART, and LTCR.
  12. Prepare risk management and safety plans and follow-ups in accordance with CARF standards.
  13. Develop a checklist to monitor safety drills and inspections.
  14. Assist in quality assurance of the agency.
  15. Ensure annual financial audits are conducted, and findings are addressed with the CFO and CEO.
  16. Ensure medical record audits are conducted, and findings are addressed.
  17. Responsible for auditing a sample of files and documenting findings in various departments.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education in compliance, risk management, and occupational health and safety.
  2. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  3. Ability to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to maintain supportive and encouraging working relationships with supervisors, leaders, stakeholders, and persons served.
  5. Basic computer skills required.
  6. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of OSHA guidelines for the organization's safety/compliance programs.
Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this role include visual acuity and manual dexterity for completing required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing are required for communicating with leaders, families, and other service providers. The physical demands are light, with walking, standing, and occasional stooping. Possible exposure to communicable diseases can occur during contact with individuals released from various locations.
