Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist II to join our team at Veracity. As a Medical Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex analytical procedures, recognizing deviations, and providing interpretation following established standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate instruments and perform procedures within scope of training, utilizing established protocols.
  • Perform, record, and maintain accurate quality control records.
  • Answer inquiries regarding results and factors affecting results.
  • Interact with healthcare team, maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Process biological specimens for analysis following established procedures.
  • Maintain established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • MT/MLS (ASCP) or categorical ASCP registry, or eligibility to achieve registry within one year.
  • Previous clinical experience.
  • Ability to move continuously about hospital and between workstations.
  • Ability to understand directions and communicate effectively.
