Key Responsibilities- Assist providers and clinical staff with obtaining basic vital information, preparing patients for examination, treatment, and minor surgical procedures.
- Track and manage follow-up appointments, laboratory tests, and procedures to ensure timely patient care.
- Schedule referrals for patients with specialists or outpatient services as requested by providers.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic health record.
- Provide education and support to patients and family members on various health topics.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from AAMA, NCCT, AMT, or NHA upon hire.
- Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
